I purchased a packet of Heartland Rice Popperz and when I tried to open the seal, I had much difficulty. The seal was so tight to open and as a result the bag made a tear at the top. The contents were also coming out of the bottom of the packet as there was a hole there too. The contents itself were fine, but the packaging was faulty. I emailed Heartland Foods about my complaint and never received a reply from them. I resent my email and still no reply. I then tried to phone them on two different numbers that I obtained for them and could not reach them on either number, As a last resort, I sent them a message on Facebook to which they never replied. I then put a post on their Facebook page explaining everything and that I was disappointed with their lack of service. It clearly states on their packaging that if you are unhappy with the product in any way, that you can contact them. I did exactly this but did not receive the courtesy of a reply via any of the channels that I tried. How will they ever improve on their products if they can't or won't take the time to address complaints which are sent by their customers?!
