We originally booked our laptop in with Ensure. After Ensure closed, our laptop was moved to Hemmerbach South Africa. Since then, it has been almost a year of trying to get our laptop back — without success.
We have contacted Hemmerbach numerous times and even visited their offices multiple times, but every time we were given a different excuse as to why they could not find our laptop. After threatening to make the issue public, they finally called to say they had found it and that we could collect it.
We requested that they courier the laptop and charger at their cost, as we had already made several unsuccessful trips. However, after following up again, they once again claimed they could not find it.
To make matters worse, their reception phone almost never works — the only person I can reach is Xollow. At this point, it feels like they may have even blocked our number.
This entire experience has been unacceptable. Nearly a year later, we still don’t have our laptop, and Hemmerbach has shown zero accountability or professionalism.
