I rented a vehicle at OR Tambo in April 2026 (Reservation 16HB63) and have since experienced a series of unacceptable billing issues with zero response from Hertz. 1. I was charged R191.13 for fuel despite providing proof at return that the tank was full. The charge was only reversed after I pushed back — raising serious questions about whether this is happening to other customers who do not challenge it. 2. An unexplained amount of N$185.40 was debited from my Namibian debit card on the 8th of May with no invoice, no explanation, and no authorisation. 3. My refundable deposit of R6,180.00 has still not been returned. I was promised repayment within 7 days, then 21 days. Both deadlines have passed with no payment and no release note. Despite numerous emails to their customer relations team, debtors department, and named staff members, Hertz has failed to provide any meaningful feedback or resolution.
