Recently bought some shoes at Hi-Tec online that was delivered to my house. Some items in my order I returned for change of mind, no issues - it was handled flawlessley. Great platforms and excellent customer service as always - I love buying at Hi-Tec. Keep up the good work guys, you deserve it.

I received a pair of Hi Tec Hiking boots as a gift, the size was a size 5 however the fit is the size of a size 4 if not smaller, this is most disappointing as it was a gift and I now cannot return the boots. Is there anyway Hi Tec can assist. Hi Tec has always been a good brand but it seems that the quality is really degraded

Purchased shoes from Hi-tec at Hillfox Centre in Roodepoort. It was a lay-buy in November 2025. On the 09/02/2026 I got an SMS indicating that the lay-buy will expire so i decided to go and settle the balance. The next day (10/02/2026) when I put the shoes on, the buckle broke whilst tying the lace. I went back to the store and requested a refund.The cashier decided to refund me. The Manager (I think his name is Onele, he refused to give me his name) then came out and accused me of damaging the shoes with pliers. He then told me if I needed the money for something else then I should of said so and they would of refunded the lay-buy. This guy has no respect for customers. He accused me of being broke and of damaging the shoes. I have never been insulted so badly in my life, I will never shop there again. I was going through pictures on my phone and found pics of the shoes that i took in November 2025, when zooming into the one picture, it shows the defective buckle. The picture shows it was on the counter at the store

In a world where e-commerce in South Africa is highly efficient, with many retailers delivering orders the next day, and even cars being delivered in less time, it is frustrating to experience this level of delay and lack of communication over a pair of R300 shoes. There has been no proactive communication from Hi-Tec. Any updates received were only after I personally followed up. Delays can happen, but the absence of transparency and customer updates makes the experience unnecessarily frustrating. This experience was highly disappointing and I will never order from them again. I hope Hi-Tec improves both turnaround times and customer communication going forward.

My husband bought a pair of Hi-Tec sandals in April last year, and in December the Soles of BOTH shoes have separated into 2 different pieces of PLASTIC!! Truly for R900 a pair and the "Guarantee" is only for 6 months. I am BEYOND NOT impressed!
