WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY A MASSAGE CHAIR FROM HOME TECH !!! ALSO HIGH-TEMP ALSO HOME TECHNOLOGIES GROUP We spent R35,000 on a luxury chair. After 3 years it needed repairs. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE TO NON-EXISTENT!!! They send you to an unprofessional sub-contractor for repairs who gives you the run around for months and makes you replace every part and pay in advance.
R13,500 later in replaced parts and the chair still does not work. Apparently the chair is from China and HOME TECH does not have the spares in SA to repair the chair!!!
We can't get the repair guy to come back since July 2025. He clearly doesnt have the skills or spares the repair the chair!
I have emailed every number and email address, even the owner Dominic Stymes on LinkedIn. His 1 line response was he is no longer in SA. Contact the support number!
Finally a response from an email address saying they will "reach out to Stanley (the repair sub-contractor) and get all adequate information" !!!
WHAT KIND OF A SHAM COMPANY IS THIS?
I feel like reporting them to the Dept of Trade and Industry and SABS!!!
How can you sell an expensive imported electronic item with no service and repair parts available for after-market repairs???
