Purchased Several tools/Equipment for a substantial amount during black Friday special in November 2023, A Multi Line measure was purchased with a delivery date noted on Invoice for 02/02/2024, To date our business has had no response from anyone at Hilti, nor has the product been delivered, it is Now 2025. We have made several calls and sent through numerous emails and no response, since Nov 2024, Service is absolutely unprofessional, As a business that prides ourselves in the construction Industry we would not recommend any purchases from Hilti SA, daylight *******

Hilti SA has gone from a top supplier of tools to a embarrassment to themself...They require full payment of a service and then send a e-mail stating there is no spares,the 3 day service policy/or non payment is a ****......after numerous calls and threads of legal action,they did send a mail stating a credit,well on paper but in reality there is no credit....employees is totally useless,no one will ever phone you back,the Dutch ceo Dirk, of Hilti SA should be ashamed,No wonder all the good staff left Hilti after Covid .....after 23 years i had it,leave SA

I must forewarn anyone wanting to make a purchase from Hilti to deal with them with great circumspect. Be aware a lifetime guarantee means for the lifetime of the equipment not your lifetime (like a Rolls Royce. ) As soon as the piece of equipment is withdrawn from the market it will not be serviced or repaired by Hilti and spares will not be obtainable, you might as well throw it away. This so called lifetime guarantee may be as short as 18 months after purchase in certain cases Also make absolutely sure that you don't overpay for ANYTHING as credits are all but impossible to get back even if you take up your request for reimbur*****t to the head office in Germany So pasop don't say i didn't warn you

Be aware that the hilti "lifetime gaurantee" is a misdemenour and a marketing tool no more than that. All Hilti products are only backed up until it is discontinued after which time you will ba able to obtain zero back up, parts or servicing. This so called lifetime gaurantee may be as short as 2 years or less if you buy the machine today and it is in the process of discontinued in Austria

Booked in a repair with Hilti to collect a faulty Hilti 8 April, it has taken City Logistics weeks to collect the device after numerous follow ups. After threats of complaining about the poor service the collection eventually took place 25 April. Once the collection was done, there was no formal confirmation from Hilti that received the device after Collection Waybill was supp**** to Hilti. Once again various follow ups was sent to Hilti Customer service to get an update on the repair status and progress. However, Hilti Customer Service consultant seemed to have vanished off this face of this earth along with my device. 16 May to date, still no response from Hilti

Before I went to the store in Milnerton., Cape Town I did a lot of research on the products I wanted and knew the prices and capabilities. Most underwhelming experience in a long time. No one in the shop truly knew any specs about the products, everytime had to go online on their websites to answer my questions(I already had the answers to or they were to busy to help(I was the only client in store). The lady who assisted me was sincere, but lacked technical experience. She overcharged me(for the 4amp battery as they didn’t have the 2.6, I got the 2.6 and sold products to to me that doesn’t pair. As a long term Festool enthusiast I’m so disappointed in Hilti as they would’ve been my second. Maybe I’m toooo small, who knows??!? Please educate yourself with your own products, before selling it.

Hilti agent picked up an evidently faulty cordless drill from my house for repair Repair quote was misleading on the email at R1377.00 when in fact in turned out to be +- R1890 after freight and vat The link to approve the quote takes you to an unknown internet page so i had to phone customer care to get the real price of the repair. No-one phones you to tell you what is wrong and what needs to be repaired I received the drill and battery charger in the carry case back today Friday 17 Nov - its filthy - they could not be even bothered to clean the drill or the dust from the box or battery charger. Who knows if they even opened the drill?- and what they replaced or did inside My two pin adaptor is missing from the box as well as the dust rag Coupled with this i am told the repairs have a warranty for 3 months??? I am a household user and probably wont even use it in 3 months so the warranty is not worth the paper its written on to me If this is the "great" hilti compamy operation performance then i would think the company is going backwards and i would hesitate to buy another product from them as the service, customer care is appalling, misleading and suspect and gives one absolutely no faith in the company

Since then Hilti still send us invoices and deduct money from our bank account although the items were collected on 2/08/2022 We received credit memo's for the invoices but no payment were made to us yet. Today another payment went through our bank!! The customer service is shocking and we will NEVER make use of any of their products or service!

Our company had a fleet management contract with Hilti that came to an end on 30/06/2022. Since then Hilti still send us invoices and deduct money from our bank account although the items were collected on 2/08/2022 We received credit memo's for the invoices but no payment were made to us yet. Today another payment went through our bank!! The customer service is shocking and we will NEVER make use of any of their products or service!
