Hilti misleading advertising

I must forewarn anyone wanting to make a purchase from Hilti to deal with them with great circumspect.

Be aware a lifetime guarantee means for the lifetime of the equipment not your lifetime (like a Rolls Royce. ) As soon as the piece of equipment is withdrawn from the market it will not be serviced or repaired by Hilti and spares will not be obtainable, you might as well throw it away. This so called lifetime guarantee may be as short as 18 months after purchase in certain cases

Also make absolutely sure that you don't overpay for ANYTHING as credits are all but impossible to get back even if you take up your request for reimbur*****t to the head office in Germany

So pasop don't say i didn't warn you
