Hippo Pod Hotel is a scam

This hotel is a complete scam. The number for the front desk is the personal number of the owner and you can never get through to confirm your reservation or to make changes to your check in/out dates because the number is always off. They accept your booking online, take you to a payment link, then they turn off their phone and ignore your emails. The receptionist of a nearby hotel said that they had to take in guests who had booked and paid for their reservation at Hippo Pod Hotel but were refused at the door because the online booking system accepts all bookings even if there are no rooms available. The hotel also has a non refundable policy so guests can't get their money back.

I would never recommend anyone waste their time booking with such crooks.
