I am a tenant at a complex managed by Holm Managing Agents. I have contacted them with some complaints which went unheard.
There is a written-off car (its front axle is broken) that has been standing in our parking lot for more than a year. I have asked the managing agents whether this can be removed as it is an eyesore, after which I was informed that it will not be possible because they do not know who the vehicle belongs to. I suggested that they send an e-mail to all residents to inform them that the vehicle will be removed if not claimed, but was told that this cannot be done (I do not know why).
I also complained about the condition of the walkways and stairs as residents would leave garbage in the public spaces or not clean up spills from takeaways or leaking garbage bags. I suggested that a polite e-mail be sent to residents to ask everyone to try and keep the public areas clean. I was informed that this will not be done because there are cleaners who clean these areas. It must be noted that the cleaners only come in some mornings and never on weekends, so if someone spills something on a Friday afternoon, it will remain there until at least Monday.
I do not understand why my complaints are not being heard. I am asking for the bare minimum. I do not want to live somewhere that looks like a garbage dump and would appreciate it if the managing agents would take responsibility. It is, after all, their only job.
