The service we have received from Holm has been absolutely appalling. We have gone weeks on end without hearing from our managing agent about an ongoing roof leak and mold situation. I need to beg for a response and when I finally receive one it is with a horrible attitude. After begging for repairs to be made the repair company did not arrive when scheduled, not once but twice. This was in no way acknowledged by the agent and she acts as if her lack of communication with the repair company is no issue at all. She has no regard for my time and will make arrangements without consulting me and expect me to make myself available, this after I was available the first two times we had made arrangements and no one arrived. Linda and Holm have been completely *********** and I would not recommend their services to anyone

I am a tenant at a complex managed by Holm Managing Agents. I have contacted them with some complaints which went unheard. There is a written-off car (its front axle is broken) that has been standing in our parking lot for more than a year. I have asked the managing agents whether this can be removed as it is an eyesore, after which I was informed that it will not be possible because they do not know who the vehicle belongs to. I suggested that they send an e-mail to all residents to inform them that the vehicle will be removed if not claimed, but was told that this cannot be done (I do not know why). I also complained about the condition of the walkways and stairs as residents would leave garbage in the public spaces or not clean up spills from takeaways or leaking garbage bags. I suggested that a polite e-mail be sent to residents to ask everyone to try and keep the public areas clean. I was informed that this will not be done because there are cleaners who clean these areas. It must be noted that the cleaners only come in some mornings and never on weekends, so if someone spills something on a Friday afternoon, it will remain there until at least Monday. I do not understand why my complaints are not being heard. I am asking for the bare minimum. I do not want to live somewhere that looks like a garbage dump and would appreciate it if the managing agents would take responsibility. It is, after all, their only job.

Their admin has completely no respect and client service. He/She gives you only an attitude and no assistance at all. Requested a statement after I had changes my email. Only got a bad attitude response. Its 2022 learn to respect all people. I mean realy. Whoz important who is not. Elrie person needs a mindset change.

How long does it take to fix a leak and replace a kitchen sink and cupboard? Over three months and still counting. After countless conversations over emails and phone calls the problem of fixing a hole in the wall has finally been completed, however this flat still has no kitchen sink for over three months now. I finally wrote to the person I speak with and said that unless this was fixed until the end of the third month (January), I am no longer paying the monthly installments of nearly R 1000 for managing my property. And I am still without proper kitchen sanitation in the flat. My father purchased a washing machine, which he has not been able to use since November. The only other sink available is a tiny basin in the bathroom which is becoming clogged ... How long do you wait for a leak and a kitchen sink replacement in Cape town - as we live in a developing country, apparently this takes longer than in any other corner of the world - three months and counting. I am not paying a cent to Holm Management as they are not managing my property and just because they are doing so on paper does not mean they are.
