On 23 January, we purchased a medical care bed online from Holt Solutions. Delivery was to take place within a week and we cleared the bedroom of my elderly mom on the day. The bed did not arrive. The sales consultant (who seems to be the only point of contact at the company), sent us the driver name and registration number, but no tracking number. There was no delivery or attempt to deliver and the driver did not respond to any calls. We received no updates and no calls or hooting to alert us that they were there. In that same week we received multiple other deliveries, as we were at home all the time. The consultant stopped responding to our queries, and didn't give us any feedback. By then we had thought that it was an online **** and on 5 February went to the police to lay a charge of online *****. At the station, the station commander phoned them and they answered (they didn't know the police's number). They claimed they had tried to deliver twice, but to date can not provide any proof. They then said they would process a refund according to their refund policy, which has not been received. The policy is related to delivered items. So we have now been waiting for almost a month for a refund, with no response to requests on when this will happen. If we have not received the refund by the end of this week (7 March), we will proceed with laying charges. Be warned, that they do not care.

I strongly advise avoiding this company. Their listed address leads to an Ear Institute in George that has never heard of them. I personally confirmed this. They also have agents who will engage you over the phone to seem legitimate — but don’t be fooled. Many people have been ****med and never received their orders. It’s unacceptable that this site is still active despite the growing number of complaints. If you’re considering ordering from Holt Solutions, don’t — you won’t receive your product, and there is no real company behind the website. Disgusting and exploitative.

The staff at Holt Solutions provided excellent customer service and advice. Ordered the mobility scooter on their website holtsolutions.co.za and it was delivered within a few days as promised. It arrived well protected & undamaged.

1. On 20 August 2025, I purchased a DeVilbiss iGo2 Portable Oxygen Concentrator (5 Litre) with Extra Battery online from Holt Solutions (www.holtsolutions.co.za) for the amount of R35,999.00. 2. Prior to making payment, I spoke telephonically with a woman who identified herself as Kala Sandra on cell phone number 083 481 0440. She informed me that the unit would be couriered to me and that delivery would take approximately two (2) days. 3. I requested an invoice before effecting payment, and I was provided with a proforma invoice. 4. On 22 August 2025, I contacted Holt Solutions again to enquire about delivery. The same lady informed me that the courier would be collecting the unit that day. 5. I then requested a formal invoice reflecting the company’s registration number. She stated that they do not provide registration numbers via email. I informed her that SARS requires that a company registration number be reflected on an invoice. 6. I further asked whether I could arrange for my own courier to collect the equipment. She responded by asking if I would prefer to cancel the order, as I seemed dissatisfied. 7. I rep**** that I wished to cancel the order and receive a refund. She subsequently confirmed the cancellation by email. 8. I thereafter phoned her again to enquire when the funds would be refunded. She advised that I would have to wait two weeks. I informed her that this was unacceptable and that I wanted the refund to be made immediately. She declined. 9. I then contacted ABSA’s ***** Division, who confirmed that the account into which I had made payment belonged to an individual and not a company, and that the funds had already been withdrawn. 10. It has thus become evident that I have been de*****ed.
