We bought a couch from HomeItalian in December, and unfortunately we experienced several issues with it from the date of purchase up until March. We reported our concerns multiple times to the manager, Sina. After many back-and-forth discussions we were told the couch would be exchanged, but when the replacement arrived it turned out to be the wrong couch. Because of the frustration and the way our concerns were handled, we eventually requested a refund. However, when we visited the store we were assisted by Cindy, who handled the situation very differently. She listened to our concerns, apologized for the inconvenience, and went the extra mile by personally checking with the warehouse to see if the correct couch was available. Thanks to Cindy’s effort and willingness to help, everything was resolved and we were able to receive the correct couch. We truly appreciate her professionalism and customer care. If it wasn’t for her, we would have taken our refund and gone to another store. Thank you, Cindy, for your outstanding assistance. Dear Home Italia Management, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a couch I purchased from your Westgate Home Italia branch. Upon delivery, your delivery team removed the couch legs and failed to reinstall them correctly, which has affected the stability of the couch. In addition, the couch was delivered with visible cuts on the sides, which were not present at the time of purchase. I immediately raised this issue with both the saleslady and the store manager, however, to date no corrective action has been taken, and I have received no resolution. This situation is unacceptable and does not comply with the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa, which requires goods to be delivered in good condition and fit for purpose. I hereby request urgent resolution, namely one of the following: Repair of the couch to an acceptable standard, or Replacement of the couch

They don't even deserve a star...I bought a dining room suite online on the 2nd of December 2024,it took them weeks to acknowledge receiving the money,by that time,the Suite was out of stock in all their branches, the branch manager at Westgate where I believe it's their headoffice promised me that they will receive new stock on the 19th of December 2024 and I will get my suite on the 20th of december,but because I knew she was just dragging time,I asked for a refund...now she is ignoring my calls n she blocked me on WhatsApp...0 customer service,that Manager Sindi,has no clue about he stock...I wouldn't recommend this franchise to anyone,their communication is poor

I went to home italia ( westgate mall ) ok 11/07/2024 to go layby , two pedestral draws . I paid 500 deposit that the total is 3200 ( remaining balance 2700) . I went back on the 25th of November to go collect and pay the remaining balance and they said i have paid 400rand the balance also with proof being shown that i made 500 as a deposit with a balance of 2700 they said i must pay 3198r because theirs system shows shows that balance and i must bring the slips as I forgot at home i paid them full amount the following day I went with all proof of payment to show them they sent it to head office and told me they will call me I never received a call from them today I went to them and they told me they can’t help me all they can do is to give me my money back but not the full amount i gave them only the money that appears on the system because the manager who used to work in the shop is the one who used to ***** customers money now she is fired and they dealing with her with a court home italian is ****ing people please help me to get the money they i paid them in full i have proof of payment Lebo 0783556926

I bought a bedroom suit from Senex Gezina of which a deposit of R27 000 was paid on 12 Jun 2024, it was delivered and was not happy since it looked horrible as if it was used called them that I'm not happy. They promises to exchange it of which on the 18th June they delivered another set. It's unfortunate that the 2nd one was in a bad condition and informed the lady Manager Ausi Linky at Gezina that I don't need the goods and that I cancell the contract. Linky Manager at Gezina informed me that refund will be done after 20day, its almost 2month waiting for my refund and lot of stories told Area Manager stories. Worst-case now I'm receiving threatening msg and calls from their Debt collection (NDR) for collection even though the debit order went through. The service and the furniture was it a bad state even though their sales Consultant are good. HomeItalia it's a bad experience

I bought couches from these people in 2021, entered into a 12 month repayment agreement with them. I paid off my account on the agreed date. 1 year later I find out that my account has been handed over to debt collectors. I call the debt collectors in question to ask about the alleged debt they confirm that my account is paid up but she advised that i call home Italia to find out what the issue is. I call HomeItalia I speak to nelly the manager, she promises to call me back but doesn’t. I call them back and the phone has been switch off since.

I have purchased a dinning room suite in the year 2021 at Home Italia Furniture stores, Westgate mall branch. The name of the dinning room suite is POMPAY, a round glass table with six 6 chairs of which I bought it at a cash price of R22 000.00. The following day when I was busy putting furniture polish the delivery of the furniture at my house, I noticed that one of the chairs was damaged and on the corner seat. The seats are covered with leather and one chair's leather cover was torn at the corner. I have notified the manager at the shop and I was told that they will come and fetch the chair for repairs. Indeed the chair was collected and I have been making follow ups since 2022 to date about the return of my chair and when are they going to deliver it at my place. I went to the shop several times and was also given the senior/area manager contact numbers whom I have contacted several times without any good answers and she ended up ignoring my calls and messages. I ended up requesting that they must give me the chair at a discount price which was worked out by the store manager and the poor store manager ended up paying me out her pocket and promised that the chair will be delivered at my place. To date I have been going up and down requesting delivery of that chair and I am not getting good answers. I am told that the chair was taken to the ware house for repairs of which I requested that they must stop with their repairs and let me take it as is. 1. Presently I am therefore requesting your intervention to assist me to get my chair back to me as it is now the 3rd year since I bought the furniture which so incomplete. I feel that the management is undermining their customers and they are also ignoring consumers rights. 2. I am also requesting you to assist me that they should pay me for all the travelling costs I have made since 2022 to date when frequenting their shop for enquiries with no positive results. 3. I am also demanding them to pay my wasted time, energy and emotional stress they have put me through out the period of my ups and downs to their shops. 4. I am also demanding them to pay my airtime used for several calls made with no effect and difference. Hoping that my request will be considered urgent.
