I recently bought a bottle of "Little Bee Honey 100% pure 500g Choice grade" from our local OK trader. When I tasted the product, it did not taste like honey at all but more like normal Hewlett's Syrup. Even the viscosity differs from pure honey and is in fact the same as Syrup. I wrote to the company and they requested the batch number and best before date which I supplied to them. To date I had no reply from them. When I later had a look at the sticker on the back of the bottle, it indicated that this is a product of South Africa and/or India and/or Uruguay. The fact that they wanted the batch number was obviously to check which products they mixed and the best before date because some additive was added or they have used a radiation method to act as a preservative. Normal pure honey does not expire and therefore needs no best before date. Well, I can tell you that whatever they are doing, they will not match pure honey's taste and viscosity. I have taken out honey from beehives and I know what pure honey is and what it taste like. The product that they are selling is definitely not pure honey. They are fraudulently misleading people to enrich themselves and that is disgusting, to say the least.
