Please be alerted. Went to House of Pregos Saturday night to have dinner. 1st they brought us raw chicken. 2nd they broke into my partners car in parking and stole around R30 000 sound equipment. Went to owner to see if they could check on the camera pointing directly on the car in parking. Owner was too busy gambling and according to him on a "winning streak" on his slots while I was standing behind the waiter that called him. Then said to the waiter he doesn't give a f#@*. When he saw me he jumped up. Explained to him what happened. He said he can't help us. Just shrugged up his shoulders and said they stole his camera system too. Did not offer the slightest bit of help.

Really disappointed. Food took a while. Then, the cheese on the pizza was off. Tasted really bad. Sent it back and the new cheese on the prego did not taste much better. Not very tasty food. Walked in hungry and came out nauseous. They won’t see me again.

Really poor service. Went to House of Pregos Centurion for lunch on 21 Feb 2023 with my wife. Firstly, ordered Savannah Light for my wife, waiter came back indicating no stock. Can to extent accept. Then ordered 2 daily lunch specials, 300g Sirloin Steak (medium done) and chips. After a while the waiter came back indicating they only have 1 sirloin steak. The waiter gave me no other option to replace the sirloin steak. I called for the manager that indicated they were quite busy (don't know when...) and that's the reason for no stock. I indicated that it is unacceptable because it is their running lunch special. I expected him to give me an alternative replacement of steak but had to ask him what the alternative is. He said he will replace the sirloin with rump, I accepted and after almost an hour later they brought our food (we were the only people eating). My wife received the rump (but was not warm anymore). However, the steaks were well done and not medium. I called the waiter (she never returned to find out if all is ok) and ask her if she knows steak and she replied yes. I asked her opinion of how the steak was prepared (whether it is medium or not), she said no it is well done. She left it like that and walked off and left it just like that. I called her again where she was standing talking to another waiter and asked her to call the chef. While walking to call her she was laughing about the situation. When she returned, I asked her if she thinks it is a joke and asked her to call the manager again. The chef and the manager arrived together at the table. I asked them if the 2 steaks were prepared medium, the chef said no it looks well done. No one apologized and the manager only said okay, he takes note, really??? I paid the full bill, again with no apologies. I arrived home and tried to find the name of the owner on social media, and after some search found him via facebook. I sent him a message on messenger requesting him to please send me his number as I would like to discuss something with him. He never replied. I must say it was my first and last visit at the restaurant, relly dissapointed!!!
