This has been one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. From the start, we were misled about the actual cost of living here. The rent was communicated as R6,600, yet for over six months I ended up paying close to R10,000 every single month for a tiny one-bedroom. Despite raising this issue countless times, no one helped or took responsibility.
The so-called smart meter system is a complete ****. You get charged for things you don’t even use. I could leave the apartment for three days, come back, and still be billed for hot water and other utilities as if someone was living there full-time. There is zero transparency, no proper breakdown, and no willingness to investigate incorrect charges.
What makes it worse is that even after moving out, I am still being invoiced for rent. That alone shows how disorganised and careless the management is.
This place doesn’t even deserve one star. It’s misleading, overpriced, poorly managed, and stressful. I genuinely warn people to be extremely careful before renting here — what you’re promised is NOT what you’ll end up paying.
