<div>We booked at this holiday venue, but then there was a death in our family and we could not go on the holiday. We contacted Houtbosdorp via Yolanda Vermaak, whom we had been liasing with throughout the booking process. We told her the situation and she said she would refund us 50%, which is against their refund policy as there are specified cancellation costs and we cancelled within the date ranges specified. So 50% would not have been enough, however we would have been grateful for at least that. We were even told we would get our refund when Booking.com gives them the money, BUT I paid directly via EFT, not through Booking.com. So they have our money. It has been a month and despite us contacting her many times, they still have not refunded us a single cent. </div>
