I still cant comprehend how a well know brand like Toyota let there customers be treated the way I was. I asked for a specific vehicle they got me the vehicle from a sisiter othere branches, I test drive the vechile, I signed the PTO and paid over my deposit and the day I was sepouse to pick up my vechile I recieved a phone call telling me that there was a mixed up between the 2 branches paper work and the vechile does not exist??? But I sat and test drive the vechile how can it not exist!!! The vehicle must have been sold and know they can tell the truth or give a better explanation. After all promisses of finding me another vechile the best they could up with was a year model older then the one I all ready signed and paid a deposit on as well as the km where much higher and they expected me to be happy wit the deal and exept it as it is. I told the sales person that is not good enough and that this is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I had to do some phoning and looking around of myself and I managed to find a vechiles at the same branch in the same year model, lower km for less then what the Howick branch offerd me. How does any toyota dealership do this, how can they not look trough all there branches before just giving up and let the customer to go and hunt down there owm vechile when it was a 99% done deal. This is externally unprofessional and unacceptable and I know that is so much more that they could have done and offered from there side. I would not reccomend anyone to tray and buy a vehicle from Howick Halfway Toyota. Even when I spoke to other toyota branches they truely could not believe what happen to me and believe me this other toyota dealership went out of there way to assist me till we found the correct vehicle.
