Water Pump Engineering and Sprinkler Technologies (the "Company")

On 16 December 2024 the Company came and drilled a borehole with pump installation. The tank and pump installation was very badly done. The foundation for the tank, filters and pump was literally a layer of bricks with half a pocket of cement, which is already falling apart. To date, I have yet to find out the name of the borehole pump used from the Company. I have tried to communicate with them over Whatsapp and phone on numerous occassions. Appointments, when made, were not kept and telephone calls not returned.

The problem 2 weeks ago was an electrical short on the booster pump due to shoddy workmanship. We tried to contact them and we had to call an electrician as the earth leakage was always tripping. The electrician advised me that no ferrules had been used to go into the control box. We sent the Company pictures of the faults as well as an invoice and they're declining to be responsible for it.

When I said I would be writing a review on Hellopeter, I received an immediate response from the Company. However, yesterday we were informed that the Company is no longer operating in Gauteng because of the incident that involved the Gautrain (a borehole issue) and have moved to the Northern Cape. They informed us that I will be linked to a company here in Benoni but so far I don't know who or where they are.

I don't know how they're going to follow up the 5 year warranty and 5 year guarantee of workmanship. I am still waiting for the Company to forward me a borehole certificate and my water test results which they said they would today.

This is therefore a company I definitely would not recommend.
