Massive waste of time as they don't carry the stock they say they do

Like so many other reviews I was also caught out by Huntalot. They are clearly a dropshipper who actually doesn't carry stock but doesn't tell you that when you order.

I ordered a rifle and a bunch of accessories. I got a call from customer service to advise some items were out of stock and the lady helped me change a couple of things so they could process the order as in stock. I thought it was great service and had left 3 weeks to my hunting trip so was impressed.

That's where it ended. The follow up email told me it would be 10 working days and they actually didn't have stock and my items would be sent from "The Warehouse" (which is clearly the manufacturers warehouse and not theirs). After 3 weeks, I had to contact them and get a refund as their 10 working days was clearly nonsense, I even had to chase for the refund as they told me 9 working days and I left it until 12 working days to chase and finally got payment. So they held onto my money for other a month and no doubt picked up a nice bit of interest on it.

A massive waste of my time! Why lie about it? If you don't have stock, just say so, surely it's more work and effort to deal with unhappy customers because you made promises you can't keep.
