On the 28/10/2018 I bought rear brakes for Hyundai Accent 2014. Yusuf sold me a set at R600 and said according to the book which states 2006 upwards it is correct but if it is not the correct side I must return it. On Monday 29/10/2018 at 8.30am I brought the sample and showed him it was incorrect. He told me that he will send his driver to get it from his other shop. It will take a few minutes, I ended up waiting over an hour and requested a refund. He said he is not allowed to refund allough he supplied me the wrong item. I can take anything to the value of R600. I refused and went to Midas and bought it at R429.00. I returned to Yusuf with the police. He made it clear no refunds although the sign stated : no exchange after 7 days and goods correctly supplied will be charged a 20% handling fee. Nothing was stated no cash refunds. The sign boards and invoice has the incorrect telephone numbers. Yusuf was reluctant to give me the correct number and said he was only working there. Apparently he called the owner . I requested the name on the phone. He said he was Gani . I explained to him according to the consumer law I am entitled to a full refund. Mr Gani said I must not threaten him with that nonsense because they don't follow that nonsense . Eventually Yusuf refunded me R480 because he stated he had to deduct 20% handling fee because he managed to get the correct brakes an hour and a half later.
