I bought two vehicles at Imperial Auto Auctions at their Germiston branch in February 2018. A deposit of R 5,000-00 per vehicle was required before the auction started. Thus enable you to participate in the auction. They say that you can leave the deposits with them or request it to be paid back to you. Their Service Level Agreement is that within one week after request, you will receive your money in your bank account. I've requested them in June 2018 for both my deposits( total R 10,000). Responsible person is Elsie Pitout. One deposit (R 5,000) was paid into my account. Thank you! On 11 July 2018, I started requesting my outstanding amount of R 5,000 via email... ********** She responded on 25-07-2018 with an email to inform me that I would receive the R 5,000 within one week. Nothing happened after a week. I sent numerous emails from 14-08-2018 till 3-09-2018 to Elsie Pitout. She never responded up to today with any answers. I am still being ignored till today. I tried to speak to her per telephone on 27-08-2018, but was put through to Phillip. He promised me to do a follow-up and said he will call me back the next day. Up till today, they both totally ignored me and didn't keep to their promises! What should I do next? Drive the nearly 200 km from my home to face them? Are their business in financial stress? Be careful all if you plan to do business with them at any given time...
