Mr Fareed Solomons (owner) and his building assessor Mr Nizaam Naidoo of Imvusa Trading 679 CC in Cape Town are complete and utter scam artists. Anyone unlucky enough to be assigned them as contractors through Outsurance should reject them and request a reputable contractor instead. These guys came in to assess what should have been a very small quick paint job in a heritage building and instead decided to completely fabricate extra work in order to pad the claim. Not only did they add extra unnecessary work to the claim but they completely and unnecessarily destroyed the ceilings in our kitchen, bathroom and passage way as well as rip out all the original oregon pine cornices which they then took away from the property and failed to bring back. Their business is both stealing from clients (by stealing their property and presumably selling it) and then stealing from the insurance company by padding the claim and charging more for bad workmanship and poor quality materials. What they did is completely illegal and they should not ever be allowed to set foot on heritage properties. Outsurance clearly don't vet their service providers properly and it saddens me to think how many other unsuspecting people might be put in the same situation by assuming Outsurance will send qualified professionals.
