Day light *******

So we had an event at Industrial works, where they always promoting NO VENUE HIRE. We paid deposit and was stated that if we make target we get it back and get a commission. Which we did get back.

Well after the event it took a whole week for the owner to make calculations and on the day after the event she did confirm we made target . Now that we need to get our commission she is saying food was not included on the “target” so meaning we did not make the target anymore and she also has to pay VAT. Which was not communicated initially, so basically we hosted an event for her to make money. And she is saying the amount we made she had to deduct Vat .

Day light ******* because we are currently a small business and this was our first event . How do we grow in this business if people take advantage of new comers in this business? I’m disappointed in this because I know they’ve been in business doing event but this is *******. Book at your own risk make sure everything is in writing. We learned the hard way.
