Day light *******
So we had an event at Industrial works, where they always promoting NO VENUE HIRE. We paid deposit and was stated that if we make target we get it back and get a commission. Which we did get back. Well after the event it took a whole week for the owner to make calculations and on the day after the event she did confirm we made target . Now that we need to get our commission she is saying food was not included on the “target” so meaning we did not make the target anymore and she also has to pay VAT. Which was not communicated initially, so basically we hosted an event for her to make money. And she is saying the amount we made she had to deduct Vat . Day light ******* because we are currently a small business and this was our first event . How do we grow in this business if people take advantage of new comers in this business? I’m disappointed in this because I know they’ve been in business doing event but this is *******. Book at your own risk make sure everything is in writing. We learned the hard way.

Bad place to host
I was at Sonto, hosted there and the service was terrible. Our waiter had an attitude and came back twice after forgetting our orders and we waited for about an hour for the food. We had to pay before eating and I ordered a chicken burger and fries which was tasteless and when I asked for an exchange the waiter said the manager said no and I have to pay for something else, even after all the inconveniences.

Bad place to host

Great place to be at
Had a great time this place. Service and food was so great and the atmosphere was awesome!!!! Would recommend it to all :):)

Great venue with good food and great management
We were at the function that was held at industrial coffee works that Philip N mentioned in his awful review of a great venue and great management. the management treated everyone staff and guests, with utmost respect and the staff was covid compliant, they all had masks on when interacting with the customers and sanitary stations was situated at the venue venue was clean and neat and the staff was friendly. Food was of good quality and tasty. service excellent, no complaints was received from the 50 guest that attended the function, all is full of praise of the venue, management and staff and service received from them. This venue comes highly recommended by the JOST team

Excuse for a coffee shop
Terrible "job" experience - work for 10+ hours a day (30+ hours worked in 2 and a half days) without payment,due to training but no training was given more like trail and error situation where you physically work and not train. Horrific handling of food in the kitchen with bare hands no gloves or sanitising involved, ****roaches in the kitchen, terrible management, management drinking on the job and full on disregard of covid rules and regulations.Utterly dissatisfied with treatment of employees especially since they are training. Keep far FAR away if you don't like your food being handled with dirty bare hands,dropped on the floor and still placed back onto your plate, or keep even further away if you thinking about working there for hours on end with no payment and discouraging management.
