Terrible "job" experience - work for 10+ hours a day (30+ hours worked in 2 and a half days) without payment,due to training but no training was given more like trail and error situation where you physically work and not train. Horrific handling of food in the kitchen with bare hands no gloves or sanitising involved, ****roaches in the kitchen, terrible management, management drinking on the job and full on disregard of covid rules and regulations.Utterly dissatisfied with treatment of employees especially since they are training. Keep far FAR away if you don't like your food being handled with dirty bare hands,dropped on the floor and still placed back onto your plate, or keep even further away if you thinking about working there for hours on end with no payment and discouraging management.
I purchased a Mecer laptop in November 2021 with a one year warranty at Incredible Connection Cradlestone mall as part of November Black Friday special. It was the display unit as they did not have stock. Now in January 2022 I faced an issue where the laptop was working 100% and the next day it failed to switch on but was charging. I took the device to the store and booked it in, I was told it would be sent to the supplier for inspection. Only now to find out that they claim it has liquid damage on the device where I have not had any liquid nearby the laptop ever. They cannot send me proof of liquid damage ( although I asked ) and only sent me a quote of R4800 for a repair, that is almost double the amount the device was purchased for, or if I declined the quote I must pay R625 to receive the device back, unrepaired. They never told me about the charges involved especially if declining a quote, now they state I have 3 months/ 90 days to pay one of the options or they have the right to s**** my unit/device. That is theft and so brave of you, Incredible Connection.
