Unfair Permanent Ban on Instagram Account
I am a South African consumer and adult Instagram user (digital creator name: Leila Jones Real). My first account was banned for allegedly being “underage,” which is incorrect. When I opened a second account, it too was banned permanently. This is unfair, disproportionate, and unjust under the Consumer Protection Act and POPIA. I request a human review and disclosure of the records Meta holds about me. I will be escalating this to the National Consumer Commission and the Information Regulator if no resolution is provided.

Instagram *****ing money from your account
Please be aware, Instagram tried to take R5500 out my account yesterday morning , they did not succeed as I did not have the finds yet but as soon as more money came in they took R10000 straight out if my business account and put it as credit ... I have never used the feature or authorized such a thing .... I have contacted my bank and out forward a ***** case . I want my money bank , it's not yours it's mine .

Smeg and Makro 58 years old ****
There is a post on Instagram claiming to be from Makro. It says that if you are currently 58 years old you can play a game and stand a chance to get a retro blue Smeg kettle for R210. I played the game and won and paid the money. My account was the debited twice for R178,22 by some unknown company and I have not received any confirmation about receiving the kettle. I would advise people not to do this!! ost

Smeg and Makro 58 years old ****
There is a post on Instagram claiming to be from Makro. It says that if you are currently 58 years old you can play a game and stand a chance to get a retro blue Smeg kettle for R210. Instagram and Apple shame on you!
I made use of the boost post. Paid for it and Instagram failed to boost my ad. And Apple refuses to refund me. Instagram and Apple are robbing small businesses blind. They give us the option of boosting, charging an arm and a leg and then they still don’t boost our posts. This is not the first time. I have lots so much money paying for ads that wasn’t boosted. There is no correspondence from Instagram and Apple only does one thing and that is to refuse refund requests. ********* business practices. I’m sure nothing will come from me leaving this review but I am still hopeful that somehow these businesses can improve this disgusting way of taking money from their subscribers. Shame on you Instagram and Apple. Do better!!

Hello Peter, I am writing this to warn the public about individuals who are using social media and online platforms to mislead and s c a m m i n g unsuspecting people. This is not just speculation but a pattern of deception that has been ongoing for years by Priyanka Govender Chanderdeo (@inspiredbyprisfood) & Sashin Govender (@winwithsashin) Around nine years ago, I had a direct encounter with Mr. Pregz Govender, who was the director of World Venture at the time. He was responsible for s t e a l i n g hundreds of peoples money, including members of my own family, my aunt and both of my parents were victims of his financial schemes. Now, in 2023, his children, Sashin Govender and Priyanka Govender Chanderdeo, are continuing similar deceptive practices. Priyanka is married to Mr. Chanderdeo (finance influencer), who actively solicits money online under the guise of "investment opportunities." They operate through social media, gaining trust before taking advantage of people. When confronted, they conveniently claim they are being "impersonated," yet these f r a u d l e n t activities persist under their names. While I understand that recovering lost funds may not be possible, my intention is to alert others before they fall victim to the same tactics. These individuals have adapted their approach to modern platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and websites like winwithsashin.com and, using their online presence to lure people into financial traps. This behavior is ongoing where someone has paid Sashin more than R100,000 in 2024 and Priyanka Govender Chanderdeo R44,000 in 2023! I strongly urge everyone to exercise extreme caution and avoid engaging with these individuals or their schemes. Unfortunately, traditional legal action has proven ineffective, as they present a carefully curated public image while continuing their dishonest activities behind the scenes. Please take this warning seriously and share it with others to prevent further financial harm.

Dr Sameshnee Govender, a person with a mass following on TikTok thinks that this is the perfect place to lieu older men into a ****. She sleeps with them, and then either secretly records it and uses it as a ********* tactic or she threatens to open a case of ****. I was unfortunately a victim of this, fortunately I am not married and do not tolerate *********. I opened a case against Dr Sameshnee Govender yesterday at the Pinetown Police Station for ***** and ******ion attempts. Avoid @dr_sam_sparkle whereever you see her online I learned from my mistake and I urge TikTok to increase their security measures. And users, please dont be silly to do such things as the above!

Instagram’s Grid Update is a Complete Disaster!
The previous Instagram grid worked perfectly, and there was absolutely no reason to change it! The new 3:4 grid preview but 4:5 upload format is impractical and frustrating, making it nearly impossible to post seamless multi-grid images. I have multiple clients blaming me for their posts not aligning, even though it’s Instagram’s fault. No matter how much I explain, they expect me to fix it—including all their old posts! Even boosted posts no longer allow proper full-image previews. This change makes no sense, and I am absolutely fuming. Instagram, fix this!
