I am extremely disappointed by the service experienced yesterday (22 May 2026). We waited close to 2 hours for the bus to arrive in Potchefstroom, after we were told it would be 45 minutes late (Departure: 18h40; Destination: Pretoria Bus Station). Keep in mind we are advised to arrive at the bus stop at least 1 hour before departure which significantly extends the wait when the bus is hours late. It was unbearably cold, just like the wait. I can sympathise with the fact that there were unforeseen difficulties with the bus but the onus should not fall on the customer. There should always be a back up plan or some sort of contingency for events like this. This bus company has been around for decades and still you do not implement any additional plans or mitigating factors for when something like this occurs.
We are paying customers at the end of the day and expect good service. We would also appreciate arriving at our destinations at the time stipulated on the ticket, NOT TWO HOURS LATER. I will be forwarding this complaint to Google reviews and HelloPeter because this is extremely disappointing.
Please implement back up plans i.e. rerouting buses using the same route that are on time, or standby buses etc. so this does not occur in future.
