Title: Intercity Bus Company Ignoring Refund – Ticket STCUYVE I am बेहद frustrated with Intercity Bus Company’s failure to process my refund. I purchased a ticket for travel on 11 January 2026. I requested a refund in line with their policy. I have sent FOUR follow-up emails: * The first two were acknowledged with promises * The last two were completely ignored To date, no refund has been processed. This is unacceptable and a clear violation of the Consumer Protection Act. Customers cannot be treated like this after payment has been made. This matter has now been escalated to: * National Consumer Commission * Consumer Protector * Pending Small Claims Court action I expect immediate resolution and payment of my refund. #Intercity #ConsumerRights #SouthAfrica #CPA

1.The bus arrived late 2. The driver played music throughout the journey even in the middle of the night, a time when we passengers want peace and quiet. Some had little babies and had to put up with the radio. Beyond 10pm it should be quiet. 3. Many passengers also had their phones on social media like tiktok without earphones. It was really annoying 😑

I have used this bus for most if my trips to PMB and Durban. But this time around my trip from Richards Bay to Johannesburg on 14 March 2026, 09:35wasn’t pleasant at all. The Indian driver was rude and doesn’t communicate well with passengers. The bus also arrived late, about 2 hrs 30 minutes late and he didn’t address the issue well.

Dear Intercity Express Team, I would like to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unacceptable service I received today from two of your staff members: Nkateko Mangena and Bekhisisa Nguluve. I contacted them to address an issue with a wrong pick‑up location, and the level of service I received from both gentlemen was extremely disappointing. They were rude, unprofessional, and lacked empathy throughout the interaction. At one point, one of them even spoke over me while I was still on the call, which was highly disrespectful. This was my first time using Intercity Express, as I usually travel with Translux. I regret not trusting my instinct when I noticed that Intercity was the only bus left going to Limpopo. Based on today’s experience, I am deeply dissatisfied and frustrated. I kindly request that this matter be investigated, and appropriate action be taken to ensure no customer has to experience such poor service again.

This is the second review I'm making regarding intercity Xpress. I bought a bus ticket in December for the trip that was to take place on the 11th January 2026. On the 5th of January I cancelled the ticket and to this date I haven't received my refund. I have made countless calls concerning this but I've been told different stories.

Poor service I received today at parkstation and the customer centre for intercity,online when you google intercity there is a number that appears,this morning I tried numerously to reschedule my ticket on time,but the number did not go through and later when I arrived the bus had left I showed cashiers proof of my calls which they requested after I did that,I was told that the number I had been calling it's a *****sters numbers and I'm asking them as a customer how am I supposed to know that because it's the only number I saw on intercity Xpress,they could not assist me and the consultant was rude and unhelpful I honestly didn't like the service I received from Portia today.i hope she get a written warning and I hope to get my bus ticket rescheduled

I boarded from Pretoria to Port Elizabeth on 8/3/24, the bus had a breakdown causing a delay of about 2 hours. No complaints about that, it's not in anyone's control. The problem comes in when a person, by the name of Thapelo in Bloemfontein calls the driver to instruct him to wait because there is person who missed their bus, now we're stuck in Queenstown waiting for someone who is late for a bus that was late by 2 hours. How does that make any sense, a bus full of 65 people must wait for someone who has lousy time management. How does that make any sense to anyone? My understanding, which is common sense, if you miss a bus, a plane it's at your own expense, not the expense of others. Your people need to do better, this is not on.

Waiting for refund from December 2024. Been calling and sending emails for 15 months now joy. They keep promising, but no action. The customer care Supervior has been on lunch since 2024. The agents won't let you speak to their finance department. They cant give you a date of payment. Everytime you call, its a 15 day waiting period. They refuse to let me book a trip instead of the refund. So they hoping that I would just one day give up, then they can take my hard earned money. Refund booking no :STBF21V01
