I booked a fiber installation with Internet-SA two weeks in advance of moving to minimise downtime. Despite this, I had to phone repeatedly the day before and on the actual day of installation just to confirm anything, because they provided no communication or updates. Two days before my scheduled installation, a storm damaged their infrastructure. Fair enough – but instead of honouring my booking or offering any temporary solution, they went ahead and installed for other clients on the very same day, while completely disregarding my confirmed slot. No accountability, no transparency, just excuses. Their lack of communication is appalling. When it comes to payments and billing, they are quick and efficient – but when it comes to service, they leave you entirely in the dark. They claim on their website: “We provide fast, reliable, and affordable internet solutions, delivering everything you need to connect, collaborate, and stream your life.” That could not be further from the truth. I am left frustrated, angry, and extremely disappointed in the way Internet-SA treats its clients.

I have taken out a 200mbps business fibre line with Internet-SA. Paying a premium for business as it is critical for the work I perform with international clients. You would expect higher priority, durable connectivity. During the evenings and start of weekends their 200MBps fibre connection drops to 7MBps download speeds and support only available until 21:00 in the evenings. So it leaves me with no support to assist with slow conenctivity and having to wait until the next day or business day to get support, that tells me there is nothing wrong with the lines throughput. It is utterly frustrating to try and work, when you have "stable" fibre connections and no support when you need it. My previous satelite connection was more stable and constantly giving 250MBps download speeds and never needing to call support for help.

So it leaves me with no support to assist with slow conenctivity and having to wait until the next day or business day to get support, that tells me there is nothing wrong with the lines throughput. It is utterly frustrating to try and work, when you have "stable" fibre connections and no support when you need it. My previous satelite connection was more stable and constantly giving 250MBps download speeds and never needing to call support for help.

Our household has been loyal customers of Internet SA for years. However, for the past four weeks, both we and other Internet SA customers in Petrus Steyn have experienced a significant decline in internet speeds, as well as frequent downtime. Many clients, including myself, have repeatedly contacted Internet SA to report the unacceptably slow internet and outages. I personally called twice—on the 8th and again on the 12th of October—because the internet was so unreliable that I couldn’t even work. Each time, I was simply instructed to restart my router, and Internet SA would also restart the connection on their side. Unfortunately, this is not a permanent solution, and the problem persists. It seems that Internet SA is now more focused on growing its customer base rather than delivering quality service. It’s truly disappointing, as we are paying for a service that we aren’t even receiving. It’s not just us; the entire Internet SA customer base in Petrus Steyn is facing these issues, yet it feels like Internet SA is indifferent. They’re happy to collect our monthly fees but seem unconcerned with providing the level of service we’re paying for. We are at our wits' end. If this were an isolated issue affecting only us, it would be understandable. However, with multiple clients in the area experiencing the same problems, it's clear that the issue is widespread, and Internet SA seems unwilling to take any meaningful action.
