I joined the Intuit accountant program a number of years ago. Since joining I was recruited to work in a Big4 firm abroad, so never used it. I recently tried closing my Intuit account it is near impossible.
- No clear instructions on the Intuit site (or if it was there I did not see it)
- Delay in actioning what requests I made (removal of data in this case)
- False emails: an email with the header "There’s something for you to do in your Intuit Account before we can delete your data" and a request to log in, however when I log in there are no actions for me, and it appears to be an underhanded way to extend the account
I am beyond frustrated. Not only is the account still active, I now get marketing emails for events.
(There is no email address to be found so I used the first one I saw)
