Good day, Hope my mail finds you very well. My name is Ezekiel Raphunga and I am a 38 old male who resides in protea north Soweto. I left my employer the Bombela operating company the operator of the gautrain on the 9th of August 2023. I had a loan which I took with a company called Ipay later and I dealt with a lady by the name of Mbalenhle Qwabe who happens to be one of the directors in the company. The loan amount was about R15000 I was paying my monthly premiums on time and more than what was due when I was working and when I left my job I notified Mbali that I am no longer working and waiting for my provident fund a d that soon as I get my funds I will settle the account in full that is an arrangement I made with her.She advised that I will get a discounted settlement. As we know the process to get provident funds can take up to three months as it is a lengthy process.Mbali even though I had told her that I'm waiting for my funds she kept on quoting settlement figures that lasted for 5 days only and kept on doing the same thing of quoting settlement repeatedly only for them to expire. In the process she was even sending me messages of incorrect settlement expiry dates which i found very strange and asked her about them and she said it was a mistake from her side. I kept on telling her the same thing that I'm waiting for my funds and by the time I received them and they reflected in my account she refused to quote me a settlement and told me that they have quoted settlements for me before and that they expired and can't give me another settlement so I have to pay the full balance which is unfair since I made communication that i am waiting for my provident fund. I asked her how was I suppose to make payments since I was waiting for payment from my previous employer and she was well aware of that,if anyone has made an arrangement in advance it's only fair to make a provision and wait for them to get the funds to settle and she told me that they are not a bank and not obligated to give me a settlement since they have already quoted them before. I then made lump sum payments into the account and about R2400 of the initial debt of about R22000.00 was left and the contract was now in advance and far from the contract end date.I then asked her for another settlement and she gave me a hard time and after a lengthy argument she asked me to pay half and close the account and i did make the payment only for her to send me an email a month later demanding the other half. This deal has my land involved and whatever that she is doing is not fair and i would appreciate if this matter is looked into and i get assistance from you. My number is 062 405 2761 and ID no is 850805 5646 08 1.Being a financial institution you need to treat your customers fairly and honour the arrangements you have with them. This is unfair treatment and i need your intervention. Kind regards Ezekiel Raphunga

Having issues getting pmts done via I-pay and its becomes frustrating because they simply say sorry we cant do anything more to assist you. Made an ipay INSTANT PMT (so called) via a betting app and im still waiting for pmt to get into account. Funds have already gone off my bank account but the betting site says pmt cancelled by Ipay. So whats the use being an instsnt pmt service provider when you cant satisfy your customers needs. This is my 3rd issue with them in last 2 weeks. If theres a glitch or system error its only fair to advise customers as we are utilising this service knowing that funds will be credited instantly. I am a gambler and expected my funds same time to take a bet. When i called in they asked for a pop. Hw do u get a pop for an online app pmt. When requested from bank they advised it will have to be requested for and will take 24 to 48 hours to process. Most frustrating is when ipay manager calls back to say sorry theres nothing else we can do to assist you. I Would not recomend this ipay services to any freiends or family or any one else for that matter. If you need funds same time in your accs rather use alternative pmt sites. Is there others with same problem??? If there is speak up so this company can better its services or customers can use alternate providers like SID PMTS etc
