Good day, Hope my mail finds you very well. My name is Ezekiel Raphunga and I am a 38 old male who resides in protea north Soweto. I left my employer the Bombela operating company the operator of the gautrain on the 9th of August 2023. I had a loan which I took with a company called Ipay later and I dealt with a lady by the name of Mbalenhle Qwabe who happens to be one of the directors in the company.The loan amount was about R15000 I was paying my monthly premiums on time and more than what was due when I was working and when I left my job I notified Mbali that I am no longer working and waiting for my provident fund a d that soon as I get my funds I will settle the account in full that is an arrangement I made with her.She advised that I will get a discounted settlement. As we know the process to get provident funds can take up to three months as it is a lengthy process.Mbali even though I had told her that I'm waiting for my funds she kept on quoting settlement figures that lasted for 5 days only and kept on doing the same thing of quoting settlement repeatedly only for them to expire.In the process she was even sending me messages of incorrect settlement expiry dates which i found very strange and asked her about them and she said it was a mistake from her side. I kept on telling her the same thing that I'm waiting for my funds and by the time I received them and they reflected in my account she refused to quote me a settlement and told me that they have quoted settlements for me before and that they expired and can't give me another settlement so I have to pay the full balance which is unfair since I made communication that i am waiting for my provident fund. I asked her how was I suppose to make payments since I was waiting for payment from my previous employer and she was well aware of that,if anyone has made an arrangement in advance it's only fair to make a provision and wait for them to get the funds to settle and she told me that they are not a bank and not obligated to give me a settlement since they have already quoted them before. I then made lump sum payments into the account and about R2400 of the initial debt of about R22000.00 was left and the contract was now in advance and far from the contract end date.I then asked her for another settlement and she gave me a hard time and after a lengthy argument she asked me to pay half and close the account and i did make the payment only for her to send me an email a month later demanding the other half.This deal has my land involved and whatever that she is doing is not fair and i would appreciate if this matter is looked into and i get assistance from you. My name is Ezekiel Raphunga and I worked for a company called Bombela Operating Company since 2018 until August 2023.I have a pension and Provident fund with old.mutual and upon my resignation I am suppose to receive both the funds.I was only paid the Provident fund and not the pension fund and when I enquired with old mutual I was told that my employer Bombela Operating Company the operator of the Gautrain made a section 14 on my pension fund.I called their HR and I was told by a consultant that the figures have been combined and they told me that this was communicated with staff and a meeting was held to educate staff.However this is not true as section 14 is the intension of moving funds from one organization to another.I need my pension funds to be paid and feel that my employer and Morebo have to account why section 14 was done and incorrect information was given to me.This is delaying me as I have debts to pay and a life to move on with.My contact number is 062 405 2761
Yesterday i went to BRT station at park station and prior to boarding a bus i went to load R50 on my card and i was helped by a guy whose fair in complexion around 17-20pm and he told me that the amount has been loaded however he didnt give me a receipt.I asked him for the balance and he didnt print anything for me he said verbally that i have R180.00 in my card and that amount was suppose to last me till next week friday.This morning after travelling ti the dame station from Thokoza park i decides to check my balance and to my surprise i only had R112.00 and became shocked how possible is it whrn i had R180.00 as per that mans verbal confirmation and when i enquired i was told to go to Carlton centre to get a detailed statement however i hardly have time for that as i knock off late and they might be closed.I am new to reya vaya and this is not a good welcome as i suspect the man took the money for himself and thats fraudulent and i want to also report the matter to the police.He didnt print out the receipt for me as he knre what he was doung.I want my money paid back to me as this is suppose to last me for the rest of the month and disciplinary action must be taken against him.
