I buy an alarm with gsm unit with a 2 year service paid upfront for R15 000.00. When I want to renew the subscription I am told to buy a new unit for 4,5k. Technology advances they say. No way to renew. Rip-off I say.

I can strongly recommend to avoid their service. I was sold a CCTV system being told that "whenever a camera doesn't work we come and replace no questions asked". After only 6 months from installation the sytem stop working and the technicians came to check but they had to take the cameras down to check them with supplier (so don't fall for the replacement. If it happens, it will only be after they take to supplier which means for min 2 weeks you'll have no cctv). After that we are told that the systen burned due to surge from loadshedding (even though in the whole building none of the other cctv systems got damaged, only our new one). Then they lended us a temporary system until insurance covers the burned one, just to find out THE SYSTEM WAS NOT RECORDING. So we had a theft in the business and we can't see who did it. The important part is that Iron Curtain doesn't take any responsibility.

I had 2 CCTV cameras installed for a private propery in Tokai August 2017 for about R 22,000. According to my tenant and my son who lives in the main house the one camera stopped working in April 2018 while I was overseas. I got back beginning of June 2018 and reported the fault. After 2 weeks they sent 2 technicians, and after inspecting they said one of the two network switches was faulty but was still under guarantee. They said the other switch was fine but they still would like to take it to make sure. The next thing, I get an account from Iron Curtain for approx. R 1,277 to replace the two units. I obviously queried this account being under guarantee for one thing and the 2nd unit not being faulty. 1 month later they send another 2 technicians and they confirmed with me that there were still guarantees in place. They also promised that the cameras would be up and running within the next few days. Now here we are 2 months later and they still haven't fixed the problem. There was an attempted burglary and access gained by 2 men trying to lift off our driveway gate from the rails, which proved to be too heavy, crashed to the ground and woke everyone up, but the cameras and the connected alarms were not working to warn us of the incoming intruders

I was sold a package deal from Justin Lochner of Iron curtain security to install 4 outside camera's and to link this to my original camera's in my two factories and part of the deal was that the camera's will all be networked in order for all 4 management staff to monitor the camera's via our cell phones.<br> The Technician came out to link our cell phones which only picked up the live network that day, the very same afternoon our phones could not connect even though we had wi fi coverage.<br> I have phoned and sent various email's advising them of our problem, I was promised by Justin ,Yoko and Lucien that they will address the problem... it has been almost 2 months still not sorted.<br> Justin was very quick to sign up a deal, a 60% deposit was paid upfront before they commenced with work,<br> the day the job was done we paid the balance.<br> I WAS TOLD BY JUSTIN THERE IS A 1 YEAR WARRANTY ON THE JOB , IT TOOK ONE DAY FOR SOMETHING NOT TO WORK...IRON CURTAIN SECURITY IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND... SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!<br>

Hi There<br> This company Iron Curtain just cost me a work computer, as They Never come when they promise to come, never send a Quote when they Promise, and when They eventually come they send four lost of people to your office. Not one person knows all there is to know about their stuff.<br> They send a guy for wiring, then he goes away and they send a guy for installation, then he goes away and they send another two teams, a few days later and nothing fixed Avoid these people.<br> USELESS<br> One has to beg them to come and fix the rubbish they sell you!!!
