It is now 9 months since my car was side-swiped by a WasteMart truck, around the 10th March 2016. I had to do the detective work (the driver claimed the police would not let him report the case!) and they eventually came clean.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now, 9 months later (a pregnancy takes that long) my payment has not yet happened, despite numerous phone calls. The poor assistant, Cindy Masters, eventually put me on to the Big Cheese, who informed me that they might pay at the end of October. So, I am still R17 000 short to have my car repaired.</p>

Another 3 months, 50 phone calls and emails later, I have been paid in full. I really appreciate the efforts of Carmel Ryneveld and Musa who took pity on me.
Part of the problems might be that iTruck has been taken over by One Insurance. Rene van Coller of One Insurance assured me about 3 weeks ago all would be sorted out, and never responded to an email after that.
Mr. Whitehurst of iTruck: seems that you obstructed the process for some 6 months in your own right.
So, to fellow consumers, you must decide which way to go. The Hellopeter feedback on One Insurance is not encouraging. I understand sometimes customers are unreasonable, but at least take the trouble to explain what the problems are about.
