Extremely poor after-sales service – avoid ITS Heat Pumps I bought a heat pump from ITS Heat Pumps in Somerset West, which was installed by a plumber they personally recommended. From day one, the heat pump made an extremely loud noise, so loud that it woke people up at night. This was clearly not normal or acceptable for a brand-new unit. I immediately contacted ITS Heat Pumps. Instead of taking responsibility, they simply gave me the same plumber’s contact details again and told me he must check fittings, couplings, and clean certain components. After this visit — and another expensive bill — the heat pump was still just as noisy. At this point, the unit was still under warranty, yet nothing was resolved. Terrible After-Sales Service and No Support My experience with ITS Heat Pumps has been extremely disappointing. Once the product was sold and paid for, their interest in me as a customer completely disappeared. Their after-sales service is terrible. Despite ongoing issues, they never once offered to repair, replace, or even send one of their own technicians to properly inspect the system. There was no ownership taken and no effort made to resolve the problems. I invested a significant amount of money in a heat pump specifically to reduce my electricity bill, only to discover that a heat pump is not the solution I was promised — and ITS Heat Pumps certainly does not stand behind their product. Customer support is non-existent, and communication is frustrating and unhelpful. I will never buy another product from this company again. I strongly advise any potential customers to look at other suppliers and avoid ITS Heat Pumps at all costs. There are far better options out there with companies that actually care about their customers after the sale.

Comaint letter to its solar Good day We are fedd up with its not taking rsspoaibillity for their poor quality of solar panals. We reported the first panel that just broken after 2 month after Iinstallation an they did not take responsibility now another panel have dust inside the panel and its don't tak responsibility to any of it the people that came out to inspect it work with a lot of these cases and the installer told me its products is not to standard and they will not take responsibility for their products so Don't Buy ITS products.

In early May 2023, I contacted ITS through their website, inquiring about the installation of a heat pump. I was promptly contacted and informed that ITS would refer me to one of their installation agents. Subsequently, Carl from Urban Blue Maintenance reached out to me and provided a quotation for the installation. Post-installation, the first issue I encountered was excessive noise emanating from the heat pump. Urban Blue addressed this by placing a rubber piece between the metal grate and the body of the heat pump. However, in early June, I observed a leak from the geyser. Upon a closer look, I discerned that the leak was originating from the pressure valve. Despite the clear connection to their work, both Urban Blue and ITS denied responsibility, attributing the issue to my geyser and not the recent heat pump installation. I sought the expertise of an independent plumber, who confirmed that the change in pressure due to the heat pump was the root cause. Further issues arose regarding the water temperature and water flow rate/pressure. My hot water system has been inconsistent since the installation of the ITS heat pump. I took the initiative to convey my concerns via a detailed email to the installer, urging a comprehensive review of the installation. Regrettably, up to the point of my email, no representative had ever been on-site for a post-installation check. What’s more disheartening is the complete lack of response to my concerns from both ITS and Urban Blue. The most recent debacle, however, was the most devastating. One morning, I awoke to find my house inundated with water. A pipe connecting the heat pump to my geyser had come loose due to substandard workmanship. The fallout? 150L of water severely damaging the ceilings in two bedrooms and the laminated flooring in three rooms. Despite this catastrophe, I've received neither a follow-up nor an apology from ITS or the installer. I strongly advise anyone in the market for a heat pump to steer clear of ITS and their associated installation agents.

The ITS Solar website states "SA's leading Heatpump & Solar water heating supplier" BUT ! There is no after sales service. We are experiencing problems with our heatpump and contacted ITS in Capetown and explain the problem. We were told to bring the unit to there workshop in Capetown for inspection. REALLY??? No agents or backups for this product on the West Coast. Pathetic!!!

The ITS Solar website states "SA's leading Heatpump & Solar water heating supplier" BUT ! There is no after sales service. We are experiencing problems with our heatpump and contacted ITS in Capetown and explain the problem. We were told to bring the unit to there workshop in Capetown for inspection. REALLY??? No agents or backups for this product on the West Coast. Pathetic!!!

So in July I complained about bad service, but I have to say these guys went out of their way to help me. Today I received my new fan motor and blade. Excellent service and constant emails to find out if I was happy and sorted. Good on you guys! I will always buy from you again just for the way you handled my complaint. Prompt service and good attitudes of your employees makes it a pleasure to deal with you. Thank you Liezl
