Excellent experience - Ivory Manor Boutique Hotel
Can't compliment the team at Ivory Manor enough! Wonderful food (the restaurant's quality and attention to detail is magnificent), excellent & wide variety of conference facilities, and cozy rooms. They go the extra mile to make it a memorable experience.

Ivory Manner disappoints
Our experience last Sunday at Ivory Manor was a most disappointing one. The place is beautiful, the ambience lovely, the service slow to the point of dead and the lunch atrocious. After waiting an hour and twelve minutes after ordering a beetroot and goat cheese salad, I received a plate with wilted lettuce, three tiny pieces of beetroot and very bland white stuff (goat's cheese? Hardly). My friend was told that they start a quiche from scratch and we were given to understand that it's somehow our fault for not being satisfied with the loooong wait. The place was almost deserted, so we couldn't understand why it was such a disgraceful situation. It is not an experience we will repeat ever again

Unprofessional and rude
Booked Ivory Manor for a garden event for 20 people. On the day we went for site inspection we asked if the hotel has time limit we were told no by the staff. We wanted a garden party. Paid secured our booking in October. 18 November was the date of our event. When we arrived at the venue to set up. We were told that we didn’t book the garden, we booked a small room at the back of the hotel. Please note we requested that the venue provides us with 20 ghost chair for our guest and we were providing tables ourselves which wouldn’t fit in the said room.However the staff at the venue had already set up our flowers were waiting for our tables and the garden. The small room the management claimed we booked was not set up. When we argued this the manager in charged told us we did not book the garden they have an even and we have no right to be upset and we were taking chances. We later came to a compromise that we will use the garden for 2 hours and move to the pool arear. When we moved to a pool arear, we had no waiter waiting on us. When we requested the waiter the manager said have overstayed and there were doing us a favor. We paid R8546 for their venue and their service, with an understanding that we have unlimited. It was only 6pm and our event had started 2 pm. The manager didn’t care about our experience at the hotel. She continuasly told us their were us a favor and we taking chances with our demand. Very unprofessional and rude.

Best day of my life
<p>Thank you to ivory manor</p> <p> </p> <p>Had my wedding there in June, and it was fairytale perfect due to the beutifull place, expertly trained and experienced staff that take pride in their work, who are friendly and just wants to help and please. The food was deliscious, the rooms something out of a dream - beautifully decorated and luxurious. </p> <p>The service is something I never experienced before, I had nothing to stress about, nothing went wrong and the staff already solved a potential problem before I even new I had it. </p> <p>Keep up the great work, and thank you for making my wedding day the best day ever. </p>
