Horrible taste in mouth

Iam a regular user of Jacob's coffee purchasing 4 to 5 bottles per month , I have very satisfied with the , product however a week ago on 28 April 2023 I purchased 1x bottle from checkers, Opened the bottle , made coffee as usual , a the first sip was actually tasted like spirits, horrible, I did have my slip therefore checkers couldn't replace , I made a second cup thinking it was something in the cup same problem.Very disappointed and the spirit taste is awful to get rid off in the mouth .Why is this , if seems as if the disinfect use was was bottles was left behind in the bottle .
