If there was a lower rating than one star they wouldn't even deserve it. One 29/11/2018 I made a payment of R9000(refundable deposit + one months rent) for a unit at Eden Sandton however due to unforeseen circumstances I had to opt out and Charlene Panther promised me that I would be refunded the full amount as I had not signed the lease agreement. I am appalled that it has now been over 3 weeks and I am still being given the run around about how it takes a few days for funds to move from one bank to another. I feel like my intelligence is being is being played with by this woman and I am about to take active steps towards going the legal route because of her dodgy and fraudulent behavior. To show her lack of ethics and accountability she does not even address legitimate complaints. The Jade Group is a sham and they scam people for their monies it is now almost a month and I am yet to see my money that I was promised would be refunded to me.

We have purchased new developments before but this is our first horrible experience with the property developer and the consultants that work for them. They turn their phones off or ignore our calls when we try to get a hold of them. Our unit was supposed to be ready on the 1st of April for occupation it is now 11th of April and we have received no communication on the delay or even have a new date for occupation. i would stay away from the property developer and their consultants in particular Charlene Pather

I bought a 2 bedroom 1 bath flat at The Eden in Edenburg Sandton. The company name is Jade group. The sales agent (Charlene Pather - ********** 446 ********** gave us commitments on when the flat would be ready for occupation. We sent emails every month confirming the occupation date which she did, up until the final week from when occupation was due. She started ignoring all phone calls and not responding to all emails. We tried calling the Jade Group office, its a fly by night organisation with no real office location and no real staff working there who can help you. They *****ed us big time as we had nowhere to stay and no information as to when we would get occupation. Save your self the headache and buy your property from the more reputable property companies in Johannesburg.

So my boyfriend and I moved in together into a townhouse in Fourways where we were assigned to someone to manage the property. Her name is Charlene Pather I really am appalled by the lack of communication and the unethical behavior that was shown. The first month was okay, where she communicated to us.. however it wasn't long before we became a distant memory. We were completely ignored!!! We have been living in the townhouse for almost 6 months now and the only thing that was fixed that had been reported in the FIRST WEEK of occupation has been fixed. The rest is still to be done. We were promised by her that she would speak to the owner and we waited. We contacted her several times in order to follow up with her but nothing came of it. She came up with excuses like her laptop had crashed and she could not contact us. We have NOT received a water and electricity bill since moving into the property... We spoke to her and BEGGED her to please send it through to us as we did not want to look like bad tenants to the owner of the home seeing as though we would eventually like to purchase the house from the owner. Eventually after two months of silence, I contacted the real estate agent and the owner to let them know what was happening. The Owner was shocked as she had been sending through the bills every month. She was under the impression that everything had been sorted out and that we were the ones who were simply not paying our bills. The owner and the real estate agent tried to contact Charlene but she simply ignored every email (which she read due to a read receipt) and call that was sent her way. She has not said it but her actions show that she is simply not interested in making an effort to help us (which she is being paid to do). I am someone who tried to be very understanding and I can be patient.... But this was absolutely horrible.
