We ordered a table from them on June 22nd, turnaround time was said to be 25 days. We contacted them a few days later via Whatsapp to confirm details about our order but received no response.
After waiting for a response for a few days we started digging and found that their website has been disabled, email has been disabled, the Jakkalsvallei Facebook page has been removed, and all of Bianca Cronje's (owner), online profiles have been removed.
After trying all avenues to contact them, we contacted the building owner where the Jakkalsvallei showroom is. The building owner said we shouldn't be worried and that Bianca is very sick and that she will pass on our details to Bianca's husband Jacques Cronje. We are still waiting for him to contact us. What we don't understand is why delete the website, the Facebook page, and the email domain if Bianca is sick. Why not simply update the website and Facebook page with the reason why the business is "temporarily closed".
We believe they had no intention of fulfilling our order and were planning on closing the business before we placed our order. They simply accepted a last few orders before closing never intending to deliver them.
For this reason, we are laying fraud cases with SAPS and the Banks involved.
