New Name Old Tricks
JD Services (Pty) Ltd - Now Trading as JDL Construction Pty Ltd and www.precisions.co.za We found this company advertised on the internet. They seemed very knowledgeable when it comes to ponds and their installation, they even suggested changes we did not think of during the planning phases of the project. During the initial quote we were told that the process will take no longer than two weeks - this lead to our choice of service provider and deposit was paid. Shortly after construction started the forman left the job (without warning), and the company owner Anthony Ferreira took over - again some changes were suggested and agreed upon. We removed our fish from the pond (7 April ) based on the information provided - in order for the pond to be finished. We are now into the fourth month of construction, and excuses have been ample First Forman removed from the job - workers had to build unsupervised. During surprise visits to the house, workers were caught sleeping in our flower boxes or in the front driveway. JDL Construction Pty Ltd also runs a garden service company as their main business, according to their TikTok account - because of this staff never arrive before 9:30 am and their business day always ends early - productivity limited because of this juggling act Builder had covid - on an open-air project there was no substitute available - project halted! Appointments were made to speak to company owner, Anthony Ferreira, he simply did not arrive on several occasions Load-shedding were blamed for late arrival and no-shows Serious lack of communication - days and weeks went by without anyone arriving to complete the job. Bad communication led to incorrect cladding being used - more delays Lack of planning - providers blamed for delays as apparent building material shortages kept the project from reaching completion Even face to face meetings with the company owner led to more false promises and more delays On numerous occasions we were promised that we have reached the final phases of construction, the pond was even filled with water - 2 major water leaks, and the whole pond needed to be emptied out again. Marblelite needed to be re-applied in order to fix the leaks. Another 2 week delay and we are still waiting for the UV-lights, pond pump lid, aluminium strips and LED lights to be installed. During the third month of the process the owner and CEO Anthony Ferreira had received full payment (upon his request), but the completion of the project just never gets closer - even mobile phone issues blamed for non arrivals. Should one read the ABOUT US on their website https://www.precisions.co.za/about-us , this could not be further from the truth. Pool-pump lid was finally installed - unfortunately this is of extremely bad quality and looks shoddy to say the least We are in the 4th month of the “14 Day construction” and still Anthony Ferreira keeps up his promises - and the final elements for installation are still not present. Messages are left unread while incomplete work is left standing Please make an informed decision before choosing JDL Construction Pty Ltd as your service provider, as we have been let down on numerous occasions

Service Scammer
I met Anthony for quote on garden service and paid for once off garden service to get my garden in shape and then monthly maintenance total R3950.00. After a month the once off service is still not done completely done and Anthony is making excuses why they are not able to come and finish the project ( when he finally decides to respond). Now he is just flat out ignoring my calls. Please avoid this company at all cost.

Worst Service and Sizeable amount of money lost
I paid JD Services R45 749.60 and they did not deliver anywhere near what I paid for. They came and did a small partial job which they did only after several months of constantly following up with them to come and do what they promised. After that they vanished and calls go unanswered. This is a warning to anyone please do not pay this company the 75% deposit they request they are Fraudsters that will walk away with your hard earned money with zero conscience. Let them do the job and pay them afterwards if you consider using them.

Poor swimming pool repairs
After being paid in full for the replacement of all my swimming pool pipes plus paving ( R31 000) , the pipes are still leaking and cement was spilled in swimming pool causing it to harden on marbalite which also now needs to be replaced. Tiles were broken by JD Services. Not all pipes as being quoted for were replaced. When W Ferreira was contacted on several occasion he either never pitched or apparently forgot to meet at my home. Pathetic service , definitely not to be recommended for swimming pool repairs.

JD Services (PTY) LTD unreachable and failing to deliver the garden service paid in advance
JD Services( PTY) LTD, failed to offer me a service after paying R1092.00 into their account which they demanded to be paid in advance before they rendered a garden service. This had happened in December when I was in need of a garden service and searching from the internet where I got them and claimed that they would be able to deliver the service immediately after the payment is made. I then paid the money according to the quotation they sent me, however, to date they neither deliver the service nor have I heard from them. I have been calling the guy by the name of Anthony which has been made some promises to come with no fulfillment. Consequently, when I called him, he was no more answering my calls and until now, I have not heard anything from him even after I sent him couple messages and emails to return my money. Please assist me to retain my money from JD Services and bring this company to book to prevent and protect consumers from being robbed of their money since this company is not credible since the owner/s seemed not been loyal and trustworthy. Very disappointing! Pool was done well but any other house maintenance/ painting shocking! Poor management.
Terrible service. Extremely bad management. Uns****ed workers. The pool was fixed up well but all other house painting/maintenance was embarrassingly shocking!! We have paid them in full and so await them to fix up every last mistake. My husband has missed hours and hours of work in his office because if he is not on site to hold them accountable they do their own thing. Promises are made which are not kept, and we lost all trust in them. Messy plastering, painting is shocking (no tape used) and we have to point out every single little mistake for them to fix otherwise they’d just get away with it.
