******ion and Explotation at its best...I have had the worst experience living at Tiara's Rest which is being managed by Jidmac property group. We are being ******ed and exploited we are being asked to pay R1500 for each time we renew our lease ...2025 we are being asked to pay 1878 when renewing which we paid ...Now we are being asked to pay R1733 and apparently that's for signing the lease late ...when I had accessed their portal to sign the lease I got error messages that did not accept my documents which I sent the proof of the errors to them ...which clearly means this is not a problem on my side ...when I made then aware they asked me to send them everything on email which I did...Now to my surprise I am being asked to pay R1733 for late newal...Just when you think they are done exploiting me ...their contract states that if you move out before your lease ends you are liable to pay 2 months rent upfront...I am moving out in December and my lease only ends on July 2026 (Even though my initial lease started in January) meaning between now and December Jidmac would be receiving rent monthly and a total of R17 477 which would have been the penalty of signing the lease late and the penalty of moving out before your lease ends ...I refuse to be subjected to such ******ion.

If you are renting property from this company here are the things you should know that they do to ****** money, which is what happened to me residing at their property in Tiara's Rest (Roodepoort): * They change the contract dates to suit them so that they charge you penalty fees on the month you want to leave * They charge high lease renewal amount annually - They charged us R1878 to renew the lease for 2025. We had a challenge completing the lease renewal for first time on their app which they were informed about (even evidence was sent to them about the challenges). They then sent letters of demands and eviction demanding extra money of R1733 for late renewal whereas the fault was on their app *They sent threatening messages when you wash your own car in parking bay. They say that you are not allow to wash your car inside their yard even when you are using your own paid water * They do not respect tenants and harass you with calls and emails even for money you may not be owing them. The tone and manner of their communication is very rude and harsh to tenants

Rented an apartment at their newly built apartments in Fochville with them that had so many issues, from leaking windows when it rained to rodents(rats to be specific) and issues with plumbing where a deep odor would permeate through my sink. Each complaint just fell on deaf ears until I opted to move out and despite giving the one month notice as the law suggests, getting a refund was literal hell. We had such high hopes for them as their affordable housing project was a first in our small town. Made so many excuses for them because we could tell some of the employees actually wanted to be of some help but the management leaves less to be desired.
