Update on my earlier review, lourens was plumb ers that came out to fix my faulty geyser they put geyser in and once water was filled they put circuit breaker on then tech said there's no power so.i asked what now he said he going back to company but electrician would come out they aren't far from where I stay so after half hour I.phoned the company only to be told they don't have an electrician.i had to phone insurance company back and they are now sending a electrician.out.if I'd known that from start I would not have used lourens plumbers because I was under impression they would leave me with a working geyser , make sure if you need geyser replaced that company you use can do complete job.

12 Nov 24 via a municipal account discovered that there was a leak somewhere which showed no visible sign. Contacted insurance company who arranged with them to call me. Next day the leak detection guy Moses soon discovered where the leak was underground in the garden and later in the day repaired a pinhole leak in the poly carbon pipe. Well done.

This company is shocking. Called out to check for a leak because of peeling paint around bathtub, looked at meter for 1 minute ( we have footage of this) and say there is no leak. 3 weeks later we call another company that finds the leak within a few minutes... Danie says the leak only started after they were there... coincidental?

Confirmation Message *Business Name:* Outsurance *Review:* We phoned Outsurance on Monday morning to report a leaking geyser. JJ Lourens Plumber came to inspect and we were advised that the geyser had burst. By monday 4pm we had a new geyser and hot water again - by Wednesday 4pm we had the trapdoor and ceiling repaired and the ceiling painted. On 22 May 2024, I registered a claim for a burst geyser with Discovery Insure. They assigned my claim to JJ Lourens Plumbing who contacted me the very same day. Monique van Zyl from JJ Lourens Plumbing took control of this claim and dealt with it in a very professional and friendly manner. She kept in contact with me the whole time to keep me up to date of progress. The very 1st guy that came out the next day, was not very professional in the sense that he did not really explain to me how the process was going to work. They just went up to the attic and started to do whatever they were supposed to do. It so happened that our area's water was disconnected by our local municipality and they had to stop working. Telling me that they will come back the same day but a little later when the water was connected again. So, the water was off for just under an hour. I waited for the guys to come back but they never did. In my mind I thought that they would contact their office to let them know the situation and that they will have to come back to me, the client. But they never did. When it got closer to 18h00, I started to worry and I phoned their office. The lady that answered my call was very surprised to hear about my situation and said she was not aware of any of it. She immediately phoned another guy, called me back again to say that one of their guys will come by a little later the same day to assist us. Their guy came, a very friendly and very helpful person (I think his name was what sounded like "Helpus) and he immediately started to work. He did everything he could to finalise the installation but discovered that there was a faulty PRV valve. He apologized for the inconvenience but promised that someone will come the next day to replace the faulty valve and then he'll be back to do the last bit of the installation. Monique once again did her magic, the valve was replaced the next day. Helpus, the plumber can back the same day. He struggled a bit but said to me that he will not leave before our geyser was fixed! That evening he left my home roundabout 9pm and was so happy for that we had hot water. Made me promise to call them again if there were any problems afterwards. What an amazing team - they are the best especially "helpus" who came to our rescue. This was an excellent job done. Thank you JJ Lourens Plumbing! Mrs Burton

What a bad experience... Waiting for 2 days to get a geyser from a supplier... Was the excuse... Then while fitting the geyser through the trap door, it's a confined space in the on suite bathroom... Now I have a toilet set that is loose and the service provider claim that they didn't do it, 3 days ago I was in a good space.... Lesson learned when service providers come onto your premises don't smile and offer water or drinks... Supervise their work, and let them get out... JJ LOURENS PLUMBING.... Dishonesty will cost you in the end...you wronged me just like that...

Firstly, it needs to be specified that they are the appointed plumbers by insurance. These useless *****s sent an incompetent child to access damages. The idiot even bragged about just doing assessments and not getting his hands dirty. The promised plumbers never arrived and the report was riddled with deliberate lies, therefore the insurance won't pay out. The staff member in question should be tried for fraud but I'll settle for him being fired. This has been going on for a year already

Ek was nog nooit so teleurgesteld in swak diens soos met hierdie mense nie. Ek gaan nie name noem nie, maar enige persoon is welkom om my te skakel vir die name van mense by hierdie maatskappy wat GEEN diens lewer nie. Dis winter en ek sit reeds vir vier dae sonder 'n warmwatersilinder. Vier dae gelede (22/06/2020) het G na my huis gegaan en tot vandag toe, NIKS VIR MY LAAT WEET NIE. Ek moes vandag agter hom aanbel net om te hoor ek moet maar die kantoor bel want hy kom in so baie huise, hy weet nie van watter huis of adres ek praat nie! Genade!! My bank se huisversekering het hulle deur FOGI aangestel en hul het nie eens die ordentlikheid gehad om my te laat weet wat fout is, OF waarvoor ek nou al vier dae moet wag nie. Nadat Z by die kantoor vir my sou uitvind wat aangaan, het hulle my gebel om te laat weet ek moet maar iemand anders met kennis van elektrisiteit soek en aanstel..... My reaksie was dat hulle die "order nommer" of bestelnommer het, hulle die geld gaan kry en dat hulle die probleem moet uitsorteer. Die houding van hulle telefoniste!! Daar is GEEN diens, so ek kan regtig nie sê dat dit swak is nie. Ek het maar my versekeraar geskakel en laat weet om almal die verleentheid te spaar, hierdie mense liefs nie op hul voorgestelde lys van diensverskaffers behoort te wees nie. Hoe desp[eraat moet hulle kliente nie wees nie. Sien ook hul ander "reviews"
