I enrolled my brother at this school.

Soon after the course started, when he came back one day from a braai they arranged at their premises and having beer there, I have informed Adri in writing that I do not agree with this, as he has special needs and due to this and it is not safe for him to drive home like that.

She has not engaged with me on the matter.

Later in the year I sent her another email asking about the program. I sent more emails and tried to call, because I did not get a response. I was just ignored.

A while after that I found out that my brother has made a bad accident after another get together arranged by the school where he drank beer again before driving.

I was very upset. Upset at being ignored after I have made payment in full and am thus a paying customer. Also upset at her for not heeding my request or informing me of this happening, as it surely could have been avoided.

Up to date, there was no explanation from her as to why my communication was ignored.

In addition, he came home frequently, saying he is not mechanical and feeling that he does not cope.

If I could do everything again, I would have perhaps rather let him train at a school where he has his own work station and there are fewer learners, so that he can get more practice and individual attention.

If I could do it again, I would have also rather paid off month by month if there was such an option, as I could have withdrawn him from the programme without big losses if I was not happy.

Now we have a lot of costs with the accident and also there was a month still left that he could not attend (already paid for and worth about R4500) because of the accident.

I am speaking for my own experience, as a dissatified customer. Other learners might have had a better experience with this school, but this was not the case for me.

If they want to make amends or engage with me on this forum, they are invited to do it here.

I have enrolled my brother at this mechanic school in Bloemfontein for a course that costs R30 000. They quote a 98% pass rate and try to convince you to pay the whole fee upfront for a discount. After you pay, they stop to communicate with you on all levels: email, phonecalls, the lot. I have been blatantly ignored.

My brother has obtained matric (not st 8), however he has some learning problems. Do not think that this school will be the solution. The classroom and desks are in a state (you wonder where is all the money going) and the classes overful.

When you learn a trade, you are told it is something you practise until you get it. However, my brother was defeated saying he's not "mechanical"?! every day after people got impatient with him! Because of overfull classes and not enough practise and individual attention I believe he couldnt cope. The course not state any "mechanical" pre requisites, it states it teaches you the basics and thus it should instead of telling people they are mechanical or not. The point is to practise until you learn, not to know it all already?!

What is worse is that they regularly hold meetings on the campus where learners drink and then get into the car and drive home like that. I have informed Adri of my brothers learning problems and asked her that he does not drink and drive like that.

However, she just IGNORED my communication. After drinking beer on campus again and gave a lift to a student?! and made a TERRIBLE accident!!!

After I tried to contact her via email and phone numerous times again, she BLATANTLY ignored me and never even mentioned this event to me.

I have wasted alot of money and he learnt nothing except for the weekend "get togethers" where learners drink on campus???

I paid for him to learn a good s****, not bad habits?!

Dont waste your money. Be careful. It was an entirely horrible experience.
