Received an email from a recruitment agency named JO-Bright stating that they had a job to offer me in my chosen profession. Seemed fishy because:

1. I did not sign up to them.

2. They did not know my name or profession

3. They would only provide more info about the job if I first paid R500 into a personal account.

4. Phone number given does not work.

5. No VAT number

People, recruiters are paid by the companies that hire them. You should never need to pay a recruitment agency if you are the candidate.

Beware of how legit these scammers may seem.
