Poor administration

Poor service: Jordaan and Van Wyk Attorneys, Sedgefield, Western Cape Poor office administration: End of August 2020 the Estate agent of Remax phoned me to find out if I would like to sell my property to one of their clients that already sold his property. They promised me that all the paperwork was in order and that they were just waiting for my OTP to be signed. They asked if I would use their attorney. Fortunately, I insisted on using an attorney of my choice. In the beginning of November, I contacted my attorney to enquire about the delay and was informed that the corresponded attorney for Jordaan and Van Wyk picked up that the attached deed was a copy and not an original and it was sent back to Jordaan and Van Wyk Attorneys. In December there was another delay due to poor administration. On 3 December2020, the transfer was rejected due to an error on the adverti*****t of the simultaneous transaction (VA Deed). The attorneys, Jordaan and Van Wyk had to re-advertise, resulting in a further two months’ delay. The poor administration of Jordaan and Van Wyk Attorneys has a negative impact on the sellers and buyers, financially and emotionally. I am not satisfied with Jordaan and Van Wyk Attorneys’ service and will not recommend them, due to their lack of completed staff work.
