I ordered a couch from Joubert Furniture in early April. I made it clear during the purchase request and in my confirmation email (with proof of payment) which couch I was purchasing, including that I wanted the version with two cushions, not three.
Despite this, they delivered the wrong couch. When I raised it, they admitted the mistake but insisted on delivering it anyway, promising to fix the error by sending me the correct cushion within 1/2 weeks.
It is now the end of June. I’ve been following up for nearly three months. I’ve been met with endless excuses, I’ve been incredibly understanding, and now I’m being outright ignored. Calls and messages go unanswered, and my Instagram comments have even been deleted.
It’s one cushion. I paid a significant amount of money and this is how I’ve been treated?
I highly recommend that anyone thinking of purchasing from them be cautious. Customer service after payment seems to be non-existent.
