This must probably be the worst company I have ever purchased from. I bought a set of couches from Joubert Furniture on the 10th of November 2025 and paid in full, which included a Scotch Guard and delivery fee to my address in the Northern Cape, and it was delivered on the 5th of December. To my disappointment, the couches were damaged, which, according to them was done by the couriers and it would be taken up the courier whom the chose and i had no contract with seeing that the transport was organized by Joubert Furniture but upon further investigation i saw the material was faded and it looked like and old set of couches i also realized that the workmanship or build quality was absolutely poor i then contacted them( which is nearly impossible as they only i have a email and WhatsApp business line no direct contact number) and stated that that i would please like a refund, which is in my right as the consumer but i was refused and told that they would arrange a pickup at my expense and then repair them and send them back at my expense. After a lot of back and forth and explaining that, according to the consumer rights, they can not refuse a refund and can not force a repair( which i do not want as per their subpar build quality and not as seen on adverti*****ts) i have sent a formal request for the refund and given them 7 days to reimburse me in full they have not given response. Fyi i even visited the workshop to go and see Francois Joubert the Owner but according the woman working there, he is just not available or cannot be reached, how is that possible in this day and age? Stay very far away from this business very very far. i have proof of every thing, time lines, photos, emails ect so i will probably take it up with the ombudsman.
