We agreed to rent a room in Dobsonville and were scheduled to move in on July 1, 2023. As per the agreement, R2200 in rent was deposited into the owner's account on the 25th June 2023. However, we were unable to move in since my fiance had secured a new job in KZN, which was scheduled to begin on July 3, 2023. We still haven't gotten the portion of the rent that the agent agreed to return after I informed him of the issue at hand. I have sent the agent many texts to remind him about the money, but he has consistently told me to wait because it is not his priority because he is busy. He advised me to send a cancellation by email which i did and still have not received the money.
