JS POOL SPECIALISTS's replyOfficial
21 Oct 2025, 04:44We would like to thank Mr. Billal Mohamad for sharing his experience with Js Pool Specialists. However we would like to provide some context to the situation.
During the pool excavation, disagreements arose regarding our terms and conditions. We offered him a full refund and suggested finding another builder to avoid potential issues, but he declined. Despite this, we worked diligently to complete the project to the best of our abilities.
After completing the pool, we advised him on proper maintenance, including testing and balancing the water chemistry and daily brushing of the pool surface. All this information was included in the invoice as well.
After a period of about 4 weeks he reported about the dirty stains in the pool. When we went back to site to check, pool was very dirty. We asked him if he has tested the water and if he is brushing the pool and he answered that he had not done any of that yet.
Unfortunately, he neglected these tasks for four weeks, leading to tough stains on the marbelite due to groundwater containing metals.
When he tested the water he did confirm that there were metals in the water according to the results he got. We did advise him to balance the water and that he should start brushing the pool as the stains will eventually come out but he still insisted that it was our problem and that we should fix it even though our invoice clearly states that staining of the pool is not covered in the warranty because it's maintenance issue.
However we revisited the site for the third time and manually addressed the staining issues on his pool, not because we were liable but as a gesture of goodwill towards our client. We even stored his pool water during the process. Weeks later, he messaged us, stating that his pool was looking very good and thanked us for our assistance. He also committed to maintaining the pool properly going forward.
Despite our efforts, he continued to raise issues, including tiny blue dots on the skyblue marbelite surface. We had previously explained that these were a normal result of the dye used in the marbelite color. At the beginning, we informed him that marbelite finished pools have uneven color finishes and a textured surface, unlike fiberglass pools, due to the hand-trowel application. We provided this information to ensure he made an informed decision, but he chose the marbelite option nonetheless.
He threatened to leave bad reviews unless we remarbelited his pool, which we declined because it wouldn't change the nature of marbelite. We advised him that if he wants consistent color he should consider installing fibreglass in future.
We'd like to clarify that the concrete delivery truck drove on his lawn with his permission, as the pool location was far from the gate.
Regarding rubble removal, our invoice clearly states that removal of excavated soil from the site is not included. Additionally, it specifies that rock blasting is not included if rocks are encountered during excavation. When rocks were found, we offered to assist with breaking them up at no extra cost, provided he hired a jackhammer machine, rather than requiring him to hire rock blasting specialists. Regarding the solar pipe leak, we responded to his call, but when we got to site he said he already fixed it without our consent but when we checked there was no sign of any repair done. The pipe did not burst as he claimed.
On October 11th 2025 he called and reported about leaking solar panels. Despite his negative reviews and defamation we agreed that we will honour the warranty and we scheduled a site visit with him.
On Friday, October 17th 2025, our team visited the site to inspect the solar panels as scheduled. However, we found solar panels uninstalled and stripped off fron the roof, which prevented us from conducting the necessary tests to validate the warranty claim. He however instructed the team onsite to remove the panels from the his premises, stating they were no longer wanted.
We acknowledge Mr. Mohamad's disappointing experience, however our understanding of the situation differs from his account.
Our contact information has remained consistent since inception. We're proud of our 8-year track record, having completed hundreds of successful projects. This experience has been a valuable learning opportunity, and we continue to strive for excellence in quality workmanship. We also want to clarify that there's no truth to his claim that other clients are looking for us for whatever reasons. Our company maintains an excellent track record, and we're committed to upholding our reputation for quality workmanship.
Best regards,
