I want to warn others to please be very vigilant when dealing with property agents like Just Property in Gqeberha. Since the very first day we started renting a premises through them, we have experienced extremely poor service. One of the biggest issues is that they do not properly vet their landlords or fully disclose serious problems with the property before you move in. From day one, we were not informed about multiple major issues at the property. These included underground sewage leaks, insect infestation, and the absence of gas compliance certificates, which created a very dangerous situation that could have ended in disaster. When concerns are raised, they call meetings only to tell tenants that they are not obligated to fix anything. On top of that, they quietly allow tenants to end up paying things that should not be their responsibility, including landlord electricity arrears. Since moving in, we have had to spend money from our own pockets on charges, repairs, and fixing problems that were there from the start. Please be careful and ask for everything in writing before signing anything. Inspect the property thoroughly, request all compliance certificates, and make sure you fully understand what you may be held responsible for. We would not want anyone else to go through what we have experienced.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with this rental arrangement. As our lease was nearing its end, the owner decided to sell, and we were obligated by the contract to make the house available for viewings—two Sundays a month, between 2 and 5 p.m.—three months before the lease ended. Despite this, the agent insisted we should have been available six months in advance. When we explained that we simply couldn't due to work and personal commitments, we were met with a threatening email. The agent stated that he would advise the owner to terminate our lease immediately, rather than renew, simply because we couldn’t meet his arbitrary timeline. This was incredibly unprofessional and unfair. I would not recommend this agent or the process at all.

Very unhappy with the service received from the Just Property centurion branch. My apartment that was managed by them- was moved to a new rental agency by the owner in December 2025 already.I am still awaiting my deposit refund from them.I have been sending numerous emails and tried reaching out telephonically and still no joy. I want my money back..i have logged a complaint with the Renting- housing tribunal in pretoria.Pathetic service and definitely a lack of basic communication to your clients.

Very unhappy with the service received from the Just Property centurion branch. My apartment that was managed by them- was moved to a new rental agency by the owner in December 2025 already.I am still awaiting my deposit refund from them.I have been sending numerous emails and tried reaching out telephonically and still no joy. Formal Complaint: Electricity Disconnection – 1 Embridge Flat, Windsor West The electricity was disconnected on Friday, 6 March 2026, and to date it has still not been restored. My husband, Ezekiel, contacted Norma from Just Property regarding the disconnection while the City Power team was present at the premises. Norma requested to speak to the City Power representative, which she did, after which the call was disconnected.

My father and brother stayed in a house that they were renting from just property in Malvern Queensburgh, they have moved out since last year December as the lease was up, they have withheld the deposit and this month they have taken money off my father's account to cover "rent". We contacted the company and the agent we dealt with sherise said that it's to cover light and water, which is absolute bs because they haven't been staying there since December 2025. They company is just *****ing money at this point and I am going to be taking legal action if this isn't corrected. As my father is no longer staying on that property. Just properties Malvern, they are useless and they *****. If this action isn't corrected, I will be taking legal action.

The group can do better in terms of maintenance. I moved into a unit rented by Just Property - Port Elizabeth and during the inspection we noticed that the toilet ran continuously (problem with flapper) . It’s been an entire month now, the maintenance team has been giving me the same “We’re still trying to get a quote” response.

I would strongly caution homeowners before trusting this agency with their property. From what I have experienced, there appears to be serious overcrowding at a neighbouring property under their management, with far more occupants than what would reasonably be expected for the size of the home, including individuals staying in the garage. This has resulted in ongoing disturbances that directly affect surrounding residents. There also does not appear to be consistent or thorough inspection processes in place. Concerns regarding tenant behaviour and the impact on neighbours were raised, along with supporting evidence, yet the issues have not been resolved. Communication has been dismissive and unhelpful, with responsibility seemingly shifted rather than addressed. Based on my experience, I would not feel confident placing my property in their care. I encourage other homeowners to conduct thorough due diligence and ensure they are fully satisfied with the company’s management practices before signing a mandate. This review reflects my personal experience.

just property upper highway i suggest you stay away from them. there you are approved means nothing. they force you to pay the deposit and admin fee then sign contracts and trust me they make sure it is done immediatly. then they decide 5 days later oh sorry we not approving you. try and get your deposit back and admin fee back. no you get told its up to them if they will pay it back and when they will pay it back. Both the estate agent Kayla and Lara are extremely rude when asking for the money infact they goes as so far as to not answer calls to ensure they dont have to pay the money back. this company is *****ulent and a bunch of *****s
